Have the following information ready to share with representatives:

Area(s) of academic interest or favorite class(es)

Hobbies and extracurricular interests

Contact information: email, phone number, mailing address
Dress neatly; maintain eye contact when shaking hands.
Communicate with confidence.
PREPARE YOUR QUESTIONS
Show representatives that you have done your research and are genuinely interested in their school.

Avoid asking general questions like, "Does your school have a good [X] program?"

GET CONTACT INFORMATION
Ask for the college representatives’ contact information.

Within a day or two, send a thank-you note expressing your interest in their school; keep it short, polite and professional.

Include your contact information again: full name, address and phone number along with your high school and graduation year.
